La Medersa Sbaiyine de Fès, construite en 725 d'Hégire par le Roi Abou Al Hassan Al Marini, été pillée en Août 2008. Les voleurs ont emporté tous les éléments architectauraux décoratifs et des éléments de structure dont une plaque en marbre sculptée et les poutres porteuses ce qui a occasionné l'effondrement des galeries de l'étage. Aussi, ils ont sauvagement cassé les poteaux en marbre de carare sans pouvoir les emporter.

Il faut vraiment diffuser l’information et mettre les gens au courant de ce qui est en train d’arriver à notre patrimoine abandonné.
Les photos sont très intéressantes. Est-ce que tu as fait le déplacement sur place pour les prendre ?
Reste à savoir comment les travaux de restauration de la medersa seront reconduits en l’absence des objets d’origine ?
